It is still under warranty and the Samsung online help was great in setting me up to have it shipped to be checked and repaired. I use my monitor for gaming and work. It is so perfect because the demands for gaming is there with no issues and my demand for work with scaling blueprints and running 3d cad program. Both work and gaming requires a lot from the monitor and I can easily say this monitor meets all criteria I need. I can't find any issues with it. It doesn't blow off heat, it's so crisp! My computer desk isn't the greatest and even the balance on this monitor is great. I've had a few previous monitors and they've fallen down when I knock the desk by accident. This monitor stand is great as well.

While this a gaming monitor, I use it for work. I was looking for a good but affordable QHD monitor and this fit the bill. I found it locally on sale and that made it even easier to choose. At 1440p, 180 fps, the Samsung Odyssey G5 is a great pick for daily use and gaming. The design and adjustability is absolutely brilliant. Sleek and beautiful. The picture quality and response time is a noticeable upgrade from my previous similar priced, similar spec monitor. I have been loving using this monitor and extremely glad to have gone with this samsung monitor.

I use it for Music Production primarily which the curved nature saves me money time, sanity, and especially SPACE when running multiple Audio Plug-ins AND professional recording software simultaneously. Most musicians resort to using 2, 3, or more fairly large monitors in order to manage the software they use efficiently when making music, but not I, not anymore. The length of this screen is astonishingly more space and cost efficient, as well as eco friendly in contrast to my old multi monitor set up, which also was more often than not a clunky cumbersome mess. I ordered 2 of these in order to upgrade my gaming setup. The picture is great, resolution is fantastic, color and HDR is spot on and refresh rate is superb. The only reason this isn't a 5 star is because of one of the monitors already having dead pixels showing in the middle of the primary viewing area. Samsung offered to return and refund for a replacement, but that's just a hassle. It's not convenient to try and ship a monitor back and then deal with their hassle of a refund system.
